15. Swear
Much like Hostiles and Calamities, Swear is an episode where a whole lot of nothing happens, and is made even worse by the fact it follows a character who just doesn't work front and centre in the story.
Following Tara as she gets lost in a new community populated only by women, the episode introduces Oceanside but does nothing to sell them as a new, intriguing addition to the wider Walking Dead universe. The episode's also longer than usual, meaning their debut is both boring and far too long.
Swear is both overwrought and tiresome, and Tara by extension is tough to sell as a protagonist. Considering the fact that Oceanside end up meaning very little to the overall plot, the whole adventure is just a colossal waste of time.
