The Walking Dead: Every Season 9 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

13. Who Are You Now?

Picking up six years after Rick's departure, Who Are You Now? takes a compelling look at how much the core characters have changed by portraying them through the eyes of Magna's group and an older Judith Grimes.

The overwhelming worry going into the episode was always how it could possibly keep the show moving without Rick, but through its time jump, new characters, and the bittersweet incorporation of Judith wearing her father/brother's hat, it makes things clear the series still has a lot to say, and that Rick's influence isn't going away.

In a lot of ways, Who Are You Now? is The Walking Dead giving itself a soft reboot, allowing everyone to move on behind-the-scenes so they're prepared for their next major threat. It's a bit on the filler side, but hell if it isn't promising stuff.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
