The Walking Dead: Ranking Characters By How Well They'd Do In Game Of Thrones

2. Rick Grimes

Strengths and Weakness: Rick's opposition to his friend Shane in Seasons 1 and 2 shone a light on two very different approaches to survival. Rick attempted to survive with his humanity in tact, while Shane was convinced survival was only possible without it. It's arguable whether Rick has held on to his humanity at all times, but he's down a better job of surviving than his maniacal pal did. A good fighter, strong judge of character, cautious but willing to take risks when necessary, Rick is a born survivor, whatever you think of his leadership skills. He is indecisive at times, it's true, but then his decisions are made under more pressure than some of his Game Of Thrones counterparts. What would happen? Free to properly consider his decisions, Rick's leadership skills would look far better in Westeros. He certainly wouldn't fall for the same trick Robb Stark did at the Red Wedding. At the same time he'd be unlikely to die in battle, and his street-fighting tendencies mean he wouldn't allow let a little thing like honour stand in the way of victory. A shrewd operator who wouldn't let power go to his head, Rick would be a good pick for Hand of the King or even the King himself. Then again, any grasp for power can result in death under suspicious circumstances in Game Of Thrones.
