The Walking Dead Season 11 Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs From "For Blood"
3. UP: Norman Reedus Shines
Because there's so much action in this episode, there aren't many chances for anyone to stand out from the packed cast. That is, except for Norman Reedus, who in a nice change of pace probably has more lines than any of his castmates this time round.
So far this season, Reedus has probably been the show's most valuable star, forced to portray Daryl as a conflicted captive to a group he wants nothing to do with, but also as heartbroken and uncharacteristically unsure of how to handle his latest predicament.
In For Blood, his time as an undercover Reaper finally comes to an end, as he admits his true allegiances to Leah, betrays Pope, and attempts to get Leah to join him and his group.
Vulnerable but still carrying with him a brutal coldness, Reedus does most of the heavy lifting this week, though it's also worth shouting-out Cailey Fleming, who is simply getting better in front of the camera with every episode.
