The Walking Dead Season 11 Review - 6 Ups & 2 Downs From "Variant"

6. Up - Lance, Pamela, And A Walker Sebastian

The Walking Dead Variant Eugene Daryl
AMC

While imprisoned, Lance's people helped to cause havoc and chaos on Founders Day, killing innocent people to turn them into Walkers. But his luck looks like it might soon be running out for the former deputy governor.

Believing that he will be able to talk his way out of the situation, Pamela quickly turns the tables on Lance as she not also forces him to confess his hand in the death of her son, but gambles with his fate to a simple game. Although he probably wishes he didn't meddle with the governor, as her fury saw him in a dangerous predicament.

The series has often seen the antagonists put other characters in a fate worse than death itself, and it is no exception here as Lance now must literally face his consequences as the caretaker of the Walker Sebastian. Not also does it show Pamela's sadistic side that she hides underneath her friendly and pleasant exterior, but the act leaves Lance in a rare state of speechlessness that makes the scene entertaining to watch.

And it's a satisfying continuation from their confrontation last week as Lance's threats came to life that did indeed cause a problem for her. However, it also majorly backfired on him which made it satisfying for fans who despise him to get his deserved comeuppance.
