The Walking Dead Season 11 Review - 7 Ups & 1 Down From "Outpost 22"

Before Lance's demise in last week's episode, he revealed to Carol and Daryl that the Commonwealth had a secret: they have an operational train that they hoped could reach the ocean as well as other communities. Knowing that this would play a large part in Outpost 22, the cast and crew were certainly able to deliver on a great train heist.

Another new element introduced in The Walking Dead, seeing the train in action and Daryl and co.'s ambitious attempts to take it for themselves was certainly an entertaining and fun ride. Filled with plenty of Walkers, a shootout, and even a motorbike chase, everyone involved threw their all into this ambitious scene that pays off in a big and satisfying way.

It also gives a chance for some of the main characters to show off their acting and action chops in a new and exciting set piece not seen in the show's long run before. Fans may have predicted that our familiar faces would come out on top, but it doesn't stop this sequence from being an engaging and tense scene.
