The Walking Dead Season 11 Review: 9 Ups & 1 Down From "On The Inside"

8. UP: Connie's Finally Back!

The Walking Dead
AMC

Daryl's story may be great to watch, but Connie is effortlessly the star of the episode, and seeing her back after such a long absence is bound to excite fans at home.

Last seen fleetingly in the season ten episode A Certain Doom, Connie was written out of a dozen episodes to accommodate Lauren Ridloff's schedule, which saw her filming the next MCU feature The Eternals.

In her absence, Connie has become one the biggest emotional focal points of the season. Carol is still riddled with grief over her actions in the previous season, Daryl nearly got himself killed to save her, and Kelly has been confidently optimistic her sister is out there somewhere.

Not only does On the Inside allow Connie to get some much-needed screentime, it also finds Kelly on her trail, and ends with a wonderfully sweet moment when the two sisters are reunited.

For fans who've been waiting to see what Connie's been up to whilst missing, this episode will not disappoint.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
