The finale wrapped up plenty of loose ends, gave some climactic endings to a lot of storylines, and generally felt like a great place to stop. But there had to be a twist thrown in there a some point, and it was delivered with moments to go at the end, as Pete approaches Rick with Michonne's samurai sword, where he slits the throat of Deanna's husband Reg in the process as he tries to act as peacemaker. The mayhem started with Pete's entry and ended just 57 seconds later to round off a dramatic season, full of shocking moments, which has set the bar for Season 6.
