Morgan Jones will surely play some part in the finale after being teased to the audience in the first episode on Season 5, wandering along the train lines clearly in search of Rick and the group, and in Episode 8 he discovered the cannibals' elementary school base, and Father Gabriel's church complete with Abraham's note to Rick about Washington D.C. He was a main part of the very first episode of the entire show, and bumped into Rick again during Season 3, before his brief appearances in the current season, which suggests he has at least one big role left to play. Following the release of the promo trailer, there has been widespread internet speculation that Morgan fits the description of the butchered corpse found by Daryl and Aaron, and while that may be the case, The Walking Dead has a knack of throwing red herrings into the mix.
