9. Unexpected Plot

If you'd seen the screenshot above before the episode aired, you'd be rightly confused. Everybody expected the season to pick up the broken pieces of the last finale, which it did do, but it also weaved an entirely different plot into the jumbo episode. Marching scores of rampant walkers for miles along roads is a new experience for the group, and while they've gone on standard supply runs before, this military-style operation is the biggest task the group has ever undertaken. Such precision wasn't expected considering the confusion of the Season 5 Finale, but it all worked very well in the episode, and has set up a crushing problem for the characters to deal with.
