The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things That Must Improve

1. Consistency

There's no single magic formula to cure the minor Walking Dead defects, but there is one root of the issue. Consistency. The show is a wild ride, but too often A+ episodes are followed by underwhelming D- installments. When the show is on top form, there are few small-screen productions today that can match it, but all too often, the biggest moments aren't capitalised on. If you need a specific example, think back to Season 6, Episode 3. We'd just seen Glenn 'die' yet the following episode was an entire hour dedicated to Morgan's slow hour-long backstory - which admittedly was cool, but broke up the whole flow of the season. I'm not saying slower-paced episodes should be outlawed, but they shouldn't come at times when the series is about to explode. Hopefully Season 6B can be a shot in the arm to restore TWD back to its peak.
