8. Morgan Breaks His Own Code

Ever since turning up in a monk-like state of Zen, Morgan has regularly been showcased as this peaceful being who has a personal code that stops him from killing people, instead looking to rehabilitate those who maybe have angry thoughts about the world and its inhabitants.

So, when he shoots the guy who’s aiming a gun at Carol, it felt like a pretty shocking moment, even more-so when it looked as if Morgan could’ve quite easily fired a non-fatal shot at the fella. He could’ve easily shot him in the shin or his arm, something to debilitate him temporarily and allow for Morgan to unleash his wise words of peace upon him.

Instead, Morgan shot the guy dead in a plot point that felt a little over-the-top in how it was used to slap us in the face with Carol’s words about if you have people you care about then you have to kill.
