The Walking Dead Season 6: 5 New Characters You Need To Know

4. Heath

The first of the new cast for the sixth season to be announced was Corey Hawkins, who has appeared in Iron Man 3 and the Liam Neeson film Non-Stop, and later this year he€™ll be starring as Dr Dre in Straight Outta Compton.

He€™ll be playing Heath, another character straight outta comics (sorry), and a supply runner in Alexandria. Like with Denise, there€™s a clear need for him now in Alexandria, because they€™re a little bit short on people to go on those runs heading into season 6.

The only one really left is Glenn, and that points to what we can expect from Heath, because in the comics the two team up quite frequently to make supply runs. Glenn becomes his partner when his usual co-runner and best friend Scott is killed, and the two form a fairly strong bond. He also has a dislike of Rick, but later starts to trust him and supports him when his leadership in Alexandria is challenged.

However, his most notable relationship is with Denise. The two get romantically involved when she is treating Scott€™s wounds, connecting over the loneliness they both feel, and eventually they fall in love. It€™ll be interesting to see another couple on the show, and it seems certain it€™ll happen given they€™re both being introduced at the same time.
