The Walking Dead Season 6: 5 New Characters You Need To Know

1. Carter - AKA Scott?

Embry is playing a composite of various characters, meaning that rather than entire personas and storylines being taken from the comics, select elements of certain characters will be used. While it does look as though he€™ll have an antagonistic role against Rick, another Alexandria resident likely to make up part of his character is Scott.

This is someone we haven€™t met yet, and the inclusion of Heath is an indication he€™ll be showing up in some form. The pair are best friends in the comics, and go on supply runs together until Scott gets injured, which leads to Glenn taking his place.

It€™s Rick and his group who assist Scott back to Alexandria when he€™s injured on a supply run, but despite being impressed by how long they€™ve managed to survive he is also suspicious of Rick, would could well feed into him becoming an enemy during season 6.

There was a leaked casting call for a character named Tucker, which is the role that seems to have become Carter. It described a hardworking man in his 30s who believes in fairness, and will take extreme measures to protect what he has. That fits with what we€™ve seen of Embry in the trailer, and also makes sense as a combination of Nicholas and Scott€™s characters.
