The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale: 13 Things Episode 16 Got Horribly Wrong

2. No Resolutions

The penultimate episode set up a huge range of storylines, talking points and situations that needed to be resolved. The finale came and went, and fans are still waiting for conclusions to so many of those moments.

Maggie's baby is still in doubt, and Maggie herself has an illness of some description that is really crushing her. There's the origins of Dwight's burn, the emergence of the new group, the mentality of Carol, and a host of other issues that weren't addressed.

Episode 16 had a definite mid-season feel. The unresolved conflicts could've worked if the show was returning after a short break, but this will rumble on into Season 7, showing a total lack of respect to Season 6 as its own entity. Season 6 had a beginning and a middle, but no end.
