Daryl looks like a lone wolf in the season trailer. He's a captive, and you've got to expect that the group holding him are at least related to the Wolves. But there's no sign any of that will go down just yet. There are bigger fish to fry right now. But you can fully expect The Walking Dead to match Game of Thrones with a cult hero cliffhanger. Daryl may not be killed, but leaving the fans dangling right before the mid-season break would be a great way to wrap up the first half, and set up the second.
