The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale: 10 Things To Expect When Negan Arrives

As the threat of Negan builds, and the tension and rivalry between him and Rick escalates towards breaking point, things eventually turn into an all out war. 

It sees the three 'good' groups - Alexandria, Hilltop, the Kingdom - band together to try and force a truce with Negan, which goes about as well as you could expect with a murderous psychopath, and that's when the battle truly commences. 

Without going into every tiny detail of the war - which would be fairly exhaustive - I'll just say that's it's probably the biggest and most ambitious storyline attempted by The Walking Dead in the comics: it's bloody, brutal, there's suspense, betrayals, and no clear winner until the very end. 

Given its prominence in the comics, this is an arc that could easily fill an entire season, at the very least, and one that would bring some incredible drama, action, and shocking moments to the show, even by its already lofty standards for such things.
