The Walking Dead Season 7: 4 Ups & 5 Downs From 'Service'
2. Rosita Fights Back
Rosita hasn't been very well served by the show since her arrival back in Season 4. The character has been shown to be 'tough', but without much outside of that slight stereotype save for her romantic relationship with Abraham.
Now, in the wake of his death, The Walking Dead is starting to give the character a lot more to do. I mean it wouldn't take much, just by virtue of her literally doing anything, but it works well here all the same.
Like Michonne - more so, even - Rosita is not taking Negan's sh*t lying down. While there's a subplot here involving her and Spencer retrieving Daryl's bike, the meat on the story is that of her quiet rebellion. She wants to kill Saviours and get her revenge, and she's hidden a gun too - now going to Eugene for bullets.
Rick's down, so a few other characters need to stand up. So far, that's Michonne and Rosita, and based on this episode that's not a bad thing at all.
