The Walking Dead Season 7: 7 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Cell'
4. Seeing More Of The Saviours
Having explored the Kingdom last week, after already establishing Alexandria and Hilltop, the world expanded even more this week, showing the compound that serves as the home to Saviours.
Outside of Dwight and Simon, we haven't really explored too much of Negan's lackeys, and it's quite interesting to see how they behave on their home turf, and learn more about their ways and rules.
We don't learn more about them on an individual basis, but it's illuminating to see the hold Negan really has; they literally all kneel before him, they are in complete awe and fear of him, and they are all him. Things we've seen elements of before, but expanded upon here. It's also intriguing to see that not everyone is beholden to his way of life. Sherry and Dwight clearly have reservations, and another one does later in the episode, more outrightly expressing how bad things are.
As things move forward and conflict escalates, that could become increasingly important, and be a way of taking Negan down.
