6. Could Simon Become More Important?

We get a welcome break from Negan this week, and there's no villainous void left behind as right-hand man Simon steps up to the plate. We've seen Steven Ogg's character a few times, but this is the first occasion that he really gets a chance to shine.

He's acting like a Negan-lite, showing how much he worships his boss (the "I want the headline on this one" line was a nice example of this too), but there's a weird energy about him - and a dangerous undercurrent to it - that makes his performance a lot of fun.

Given they've expanded his role here, is that something that could continue? We've seen Dwight given some character development, so could we get a closer look at Simon in the future too? I don't know if we really need that - he might work better as being slightly maniacal and magnificently moustachioed (there's definitely a gap on the show there) and not much more - but it's clearly going to be fun spending time with him.
