The Walking Dead Season 8: 5 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Some Guy'

3. Jerry Is The Best

Jerry is one of the only members of the Kingdom we actually care about, so of course he survives the chaos and returns to save his King once again. And to do that, he slices a guy down the middle with his axe.

It's gruesome as hell, but even more awesome. It's one of the best moments of the episode, and naturally the character also gets the best lines of this instalment - including an exchange that deepens his personality beyond comic relief.

Jerry: "Your Majesty."

Ezekiel: "You don't need to call me that."

Jerry: "Dude, yes I do."

And suddenly, things at the Kingdom make more sense and feel a little more powerful.
