The X-Files: 10 Best Characters Only In One Episode

Ariel Weiss is the daughter of a Jewish holocaust survivor who was so close to being married to the love of her life before he was brutally killed by a group of young neo-nazis.

Mulder and Scully are called to the case when one of the boys who killed Ariel's husband is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Mulder and Scully uncover the rather unsubtle racism towards the Jewish community found in pamphlets printed by a disgruntled bookstore owner. This leads Scully to assume that this is a simple case of Ariel's father seeking revenge for what has happened to his daughter.

But Mulder, of course, finds a more implausible answer that someone has resurrected Ariel's husband. He bases his ideas on the Jewish folklore monster known as the Golem, who Mulder believes was summoned by Ariel's father.

Mulder and Scully scour the town for this alleged Golem and eventually find it inside a synagogue after killing his final victim. But before they could arrest him he was tearfully returned to the dirt he came from by his beloved Ariel, who actually was the one that created the Golem to try and have her husband back.
