The X-Files: 15 Guest Stars Who Made It Big

15. Donal Logue (Season 1, Episode 3: Squeeze)

On The X-Files: Originally airing on September 24, 1993, Squeeze saw Agents Mulder and Scully facing off against a serial killing mutant contortionist who prolonged his life by consuming five human livers every 30 years. Donal Logue plays Special Agent Tom Colton, a friend of Scully's from back before she was sucked into Mulder's vortex of crazy. He calls her in to consult on the case, but soon finds his by-the-book approach to investigation clashing with Mulder's spookier methods. Most Memorable Moment: "You can't be serious," utters an incredulous Colton after Mulder lectures him on the particulars of the Reticulian race of alien. How Donal Logue Made It Big: Following several minor film roles and television guest stints, Logue landed the lead role of Sean Finnerty on the Fox sitcom Grounded For Life that would run for five seasons and 91 episodes from 2001 - 2005. He is currently second-billed on the freshman Fox drama Gotham, playing Detective Harvey Bullock. With the series renewed for a second season and the Harvey Bullock/Jim Gordon dynamic as one of the biggest draws, Logue is likely to remain in prime time for the foreseeable future.
