5. The Urge To Work
Newly human Guy Mann has all the urges any normal human being does: food, shelter, and a menial, soul-crushing job to pay for his mortgage, even though he doesn't know what a mortgage is. Looks like Guy really is one of us. The best thing about Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster - besides that, umm, one scene about Scully that I'll talk about later, is Guy's reaction to becoming human:
I had never worn clothes before, but through some primordial instinct, I knew how to put them on. Once clothed, I became possessed - I fought against it as much as I could, but I lost control. I had to go on a hunt. I had to hunt down a... a... a job. My craze wouldn't be satiated until I found steady work. I walked straight into town, and rather tragically, I found something right away I had no idea what I was saying, and neither did my customers. "Now this model comes with 3000 gigabits of pixelbits. You can see from the shape of it that it's quite rectangular." By the end of the day I was manager.
