The X-Files Revival Trailer: 20 Things You Need To See

1. That Is Not An Old Man's Hand

The simple sight of a cigarette on The X-Files brings about feelings of revulsion, and immediately announces the presence of one of the most villainous characters in television history: the Smoking Man. Perfectly portrayed by actor William B. Davis (who will tell you that the nefarious government agent is in fact the hero of the story), the Smoking Man was evil incarnate. And blown to bits - the flesh burned right off his skin - in the final episode of The X-Files ninth (and then final) season. Of course, Davis has been confirmed to return, and his voice is heard during this simple scene, that of a hand holding a lit cigarette. "We have a small problem." Only, that is not a old man's hand. Is this a flashback? Or has the Smoking Man, who already had more lives than a cat, cheated death once again somehow, and returned rejuvenated? We'll find out come the new year when The X-Files returns. In the meantime, add your thoughts on the trailer below!
