Titans Season 1 Finale: 7 Major Questions We’re Left With After 'Dick Grayson'

Part of Angela's master plan to bring her demonic lover back involved making Gar so sick so that Rachel would have no choice but to call upon him - a plan that worked to perfection. Trigon would then return the favour and heal Gar, bringing a smile to his daughter's face. But is this only a temporary fix?

In a private conversation with Angela, Trigon later revealed that they could only "eat the world" when Rachel's heart breaks - a statement he made while staring at both her and Gar (who had returned to full health).

We all know by now that Gar and Rachel are incredibly fond of each other, thus it wouldn't be totally unusual to assume that he is the key to breaking her heart. So, of course, we have to wonder if Trigon's gesture of good will was merely a rouse to get his daughter on his side. With that in mind, it's possible that, despite Trigon's words, Beast Boy really doesn't have a lifetime left to "figure out" what/who he wants to be.

Would Trigon really stoop so low? Did we really just ask that question? Perhaps the more important question is: Are Gar's days numbered?
