Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 3 Downs From ‘Jericho’

1. No New Titans

If you read that headline and instantly thought "Duh, it's a flashback episode,", you'd be 100% right. Rachel, Gar, Jason and Kory shouldn't be in a flashback episode because they simply weren't part of the story at this point in time. However, they aren't exactly all part of the story these days now, are they?

Jason aside, it's beginning to feel like the younger Titans are growing less and less relevant to the show. Kory still gets her moments to shine through her attempts to live her own life and Tamaran's reintroduction into her life, but that hasn't been touched upon in weeks now.

The real issue here is with Rachel and Gar, both of whom had relatively large roles last season and yet barely appear these days. Rachel may have a trump card in the fact that the show is obviously building towards something with her inner darkness, but Gar has no storyline whatsoever at the moment (he was literally used to open a door last week).

No, the new Titans shouldn't have been relevant to a flashback episode, but they do need to be relevant to the present-day narratives - and right now, it's beginning to feel like they aren't.

Now, for the positives...
