Titans Season 2 Premiere: 7 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Trigon'
3. Iain Glen's Bruce Wayne
Undoubtedly the most eagerly-anticipated aspect of the premiere, countless viewers were intrigued to see what the show's iteration of Bruce Wayne would be like - especially when it was announced that Iain Glen would be portraying him. And, with the wait finally over, it's safe to say that he exceeded expectations.
The majority of concerns about Glen's casting stemmed from the fact that the veteran performer was older than the Bruce Wayne fans had pictured in their head. Granted, no amount of incredible performing was ever going to change that, but it doesn't mean we should overlook just how strong his interpretation was.
Smart, suave and stylish, Glen embodied all of the elements that make Bruce Wayne the beloved persona that he is, seemingly drawing inspiration from the Batman: The Animated Series version in the process. In fact, he was so good that one can only hope he resurfaces at some point throughout the season.
He was confident, charming and even slightly affectionate as he spoke to his former ward and that paved the way for the episode's strongest scene.
Speaking of which...
