Titans Season 2: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Jason Todd/Robin
Without a doubt, the best new full-time addition to the show, Jason Todd livened things up in a heartbeat. Granted, it helped that we were already familiar with him (as he had made a few brief appearances throughout the first season) but there was just something so enticing about watching him in action that he instantly felt like he'd always been part of the show.
Curran Walters approached the role with an abundance of youthful energy, ensuring that the character was every bit as charismatic and, yes, even arrogant as we imagined him to be. And in a way that was Jason's M.O.: To elicit a reaction. Just like the characters on the show, some viewers loved him, and some hated him; but the fact of the matter was that we were all talking about him.
As Robin, he was the badass, relentless thrill-seeker that his comic book counterpart was, but his most intriguing moments came when the writers took their time delving into his backstory, allowing us all to see that, underneath all the bravado, there are fears, insecurities and self-doubt - the results of a lifetime of feeling abandoned.
Like most of the season's narratives, it was somewhat let down in the back half of the season when he disappeared for episodes at a time, but not even that could hold Walters back from gripping us in his sporadic appearances. Yes, watching Jason Todd was nothing short of intoxicating.
