Titans Vs. Arrowverse: Which Is Better?

7. Action

Titans V Arrowverse
Warner Bros./The CW

As far as the Arrowverse goes, Arrow has always been the show that serves up the strongest fight scenes. Being grittier, it tends to focus on the more grounded and hard-hitting aspects of fighting crime, providing us with some outstandingly choreographed fight sequences over the years. While it did get sloppier in later seasons, due mainly to too much going on, Season 6 reinvigorated things with experimental techniques such as brawls that were filmed in a single-shot.

Of course, that's not to take away from the rest of the shows, particularly Legends of Tomorrow, which has given us some amazing group fights over its four seasons. The Flash also uses the action scenes well, allowing Barry to showcase his speed, while Supergirl's tend to be more ariel-orientated punch-fests, with some more satisfying ground action.

Titans is an interesting one. The infamous Robin fight in its first episode was decent, but it didn't exactly set fans' hearts alight. But, following that, it dramatically upped its game and has since delivered some very impressive battles - particularly the flashback fight in 'Hawk & Dove' and the group showdown with The Nuclear Family in 'Together'. With intentionally-dodgy camera work and a heavier reliance on graphic violence, the action is approporiately gritty, highlighting the brutality of the Titans' line of work while remaining visually pleasing to the viewers. Furthermore, the intricate stunts are so seamless that they often resemble beautifully-executed dance choreography.
