Titans Vs. Arrowverse: Which Is Better?

4. Big Bads

Titans V Arrowverse
The CW

The Arrowverse has produced some outstanding Big Bads over the years. Starting with the devilishly good Malcolm Merlyn in its debut season, Arrow would later rise to new heights with Deathstroke while also providing us with the likes of Prometheus and Ricardo Diaz. Though it has had a few turkeys, it has been the most consistent in the villain department.

Having said that, The Flash produced perhaps the greatest Big Bad of them all with the Reverse-Flash in its debut season - who was so good that no subsequent Big Bad has ever come close. Supergirl's first two villains weren't great, but it did strike gold in Reign and Agent Liberty, while Legends of Tomorrow's Legion of Doom was a real crowd-pleaser.

While Titans hasn't had as long to build up a series of memorable villains, it has done an impressive job of introducing the demonic Trigon as its first Big Bad. Given his relation to Rachel, the character didn't even have to appear throughout the first season and yet, we were totally in awe of him as an entity - a testament to the strength of the writing on the show. Hopefully, it can maintain that high standard now that Trigon will have a physical role in Season 2.

So while Titans' major villain does have a lot of promise, it's hard to pick anything other than the Arrowverse here, as more often than not, it has provided us with intimidating, well-developed and satisfying villainous adversaries.
