TV Trailer: A&E's BREAKOUT KINGS

US cable channel A&E have a new drama called Breakout Kings due in March, from Nick Santora and Matt Olmstead (producers of Prison Break). The premise finds a group of U.S Marshalls teaming up with a gang of convicts to track down escaped fugitives from jail. It stars Laz Alonso (Jarhead), Malcolm Goodwin (American Gangster), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Wire), Jimmi Simpson (Zodiac), Brooke Nevin and Serinda Swan. It's also notable for taking place within the Prison Break universe, which is made crystal clear because that Fox show's popular villain T-Bag (Robert Knepper) is scheduled to appear in a four-episode arc. You can take a look at the trailer above, which looks surprisingly entertaining and humorous. Santora and Olmstead aren't straying too far from their Prison Break days (the concept here is a tweak on season 4 of that show), but Breakout Kings will hopefully have learned some lessons from Prison Break, and won't feel quite as ludicrous in its execution. Are you looking forward to it? Breakout Kings premieres 6 March on A&E at 10pm.
