True Blood: 10 Answers We Must Get In The Final Season
6. What's Going On In Fairyland?
Love it or hate it, the Fae Dimension is a integral part of the True Blood universe and over the course of the past few seasons viewers have been left wondering exactly what is going on and how this plot thread will tie up. The Stackhouse family has blood ties to the fae community, and while Sookie has been learning to use and control her fairy powers, Jasons remain latent and waiting to be released. A plausible prediction is that Jasons growth as a character through his relationship with Violet will prove the key to unlock his fae potential. The alternate fae dimension has served primarily as a safe haven for the fairies during the growing supernatural problems in Bon Temps. Though it has been breached several times, notably by Russell Edingtons fairy-blood orgy of death, the dimension has remained mostly out of the way and off the viewers radar for most of the last season save Niall's last-second emergence from the fairy realm to subdue Warlow long enough for his defeat. It appears obvious that the fairies will factor into the final battles, but how much and in what capacity remains up in the air. One interesting option would be to have them send a brigade to join in the final battle against the Hep V vamps, blasting away with their light until only a few remain standing when the smoke clears. With the final season on its way, the unknown status and relevance of the fae community remains an unanswered question that must be resolved before the series ends.
