True Blood: 5 Best And 5 Worst Stories

3. The Authority

true blood authority We were first introduced to the Authority through the AVL (American Vampire League) and the brilliant character Nan Flanagan. It wasn't until the third season when we were told that the Authority existed. We got more of a look in to the Authority in season 4 when Bill became King Bill (great twist, really worked well with the character) and more Nan Flanagan. Season 5 was the big Authority season. We were introduced finally to the members of the Authority (as seen above). The politics and the religion combined brilliantly (and who doesn't like to see a young boy acting totally psycho!). Season 5 is really the downfall of the authority, of politics to religion. The ending of season 5 also gave some truly great death scenes for the members of the authority, it also led to a sister for Eric- Nora, her journey from religious nutter to helping save everybody was one of the best story lines I though, I'm glad she made it to season 6! Also, after Nan was killed in season 4, it was a stroke of genius to bring Steve Newlin back as a gay vampire. His relationship with Russell was fantastic. Speaking of Russell.....
