True Blood Final Season: 10 Favourite Characters Who Could Die

6. Alcede Hereveaux

Alcede the werewolf, the lycanthrope who puts the hubba in hubba hubba, is next on our list. Becoming a fan favorite instantly upon his arrival in season three, Alcede has seen his ups and downs, notably in his relationships with Sookie, Debbie, and Rikki. While his hormones have gotten him into trouble, his heart is ultimately made of gold and he has proven himself a trustworthy and powerful ally. The last we saw the shape shifter was after the six-month time jump. In this new world, Alcede and Sookie have become a romantic couple and he is seen by her side at Merlotte€™s social hosted by the bar€™s new owner, Arlene. The closing moments of the season consist of Alcede arguing with Bill about who is better suited to protect Sookie in these dangerous days. Suddenly both of their noses perk up as they smell the Hep V vampires closing in on them. While he would be mourned, Alcede€™s death is most likely imminent. First of all, it will put a definitive end to one major plot point: who will Sookie end up with? Her ongoing love triangle with Bill, Eric, and Alcede has been a constant source of fan adoration and frustration over the years, and while we do believe Alcede will be the last option standing we do not have such faith in his legs to still be under him when the final curtain falls. More, Alcede€™s aggressive and instincts constantly lead him into the middle of the action, and in the final season of a show that has made a name for itself by providing over-the-top shock and gore, it is not hard to imagine Alcede going out in a blaze of glory, defending his friends and giving the ultimate gift to insure the survival of the woman he truly loves: Sookie Stackhouse.
