True Blood Final Season: 10 Favourite Characters Who Could Die

3. Andy Bellefleur

We don€™t want to say it, but it is true, the downhome majesty that is Sheriff Andy Bellefleur is very likely going to die. It will be a horrible death and he will most likely suffer. Andy is a human in a blood-engorged war of supernatural beings, the proverbial toothpick in a bazooka fight, and he is such a popular character that it is impossible to imagine him alive to gruffly grunt any comical one-liner just before the final fade to black. His heart is too good, he has too many vulnerable loved ones to not die defending one of them. Hardened by the events of the past several seasons, Andy has become a formidable force in the otherworldly struggles of Bon Temps and he has personal relationships with most of the main characters. He has been over his head on several occasions and brings his own inner-demons to the fight, but Andy€™s tenacity and ability to survive are not enough to get him out of the noose in the end. His death, from a story-centric view, is important and would bring a true sense of the stakes of the finale. Andy has been with us since the beginning and is an essential part of the plot and its forward progress. He has been a father, friend, brother, husband, addict, and warrior: all roles that tend to lead to tragic deaths in the world of modern televised entertainment. It could be his stubborn streak that does him in, his rage at the loss of his daughters, or his loyalty in protection of those he cares for, but one way or another, Andy Bellefleur is a sure pick to wind up on the wrong side of a pair of fangs.
