Which means that editors did a particularly good job, since the description of Farrell's character has him as Ray Velcoro, a compromised detective in the all-industrial City of Vinci, LA County, which is very much how he looks in these brief shots. Movie magic! Reports also say he's dealing with cocaine and anger management" and was suspended for sexually exploiting a young woman he pulled over. So maybe a blend of Rust and Marty from the first season, in that case? Where McAdams is very much the prim and proper copper in her uniform and cropped hair, Farrell barely looks like a cop throughout this teaser in fact, if it weren't for that press release, you might assume he's a private investigator, or even a criminal.
