10. Will BOB Be Exorcised?
In possibly the most frightening finale of any series on television, lovable CIA agent Dale Cooper was revealed to be possessed by the raving demon BOB (which is not a very good cover, unless he intended to murder everyone outside the room). We had seen BOB gaining influence over the mind of Leland Palmer, through whom he raped and murdered Laura Palmer and possibly several others. The ending of season two left us with the possibility of BOB having taken over Coopers mind forever. Will the third season reveal poor Coop in the same state after all these years, probably stowed away in an asylum or on the lam? Or will the evil spirit BOB have been exorcised?
