Twin Peaks - Detailed Directives

A quarter of a century later, we discover the lovable Lucy Moran remains in her long-time position as the receptionist of the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department, except now she has officially tied the knot with dim-witted Deputy Andy Brennan.

Taking the name of her beau, Lucy Brennan proves that she still hasn’t mastered the art of delivering succinct instructions, as she hilariously shares over-detailed directives as to how to answer the phone.

This is a callback to the pilot, when Lucy gives very specific commands to Sheriff Truman for a redirected call, explaining to him, “I'm going to transfer it to the phone on the table by the red chair. The red chair against the wall. The little table with lamp on it. The lamp we moved from the corner? The black phone, not the brown phone.”

Oh, Lucy, we love you.
