David Lynch is known for his ability to disturb, shock, and mystify audiences, but when we’re not hiding behind a cushion or checking in the mirror for a potential BOB takeover, you might just find us laughing at the show’s assortment of odd and goofy characters.

One such person in the new series is Marjorie Green, a somewhat scatter-brained woman who contacts the police to report the disappearance of her neighbour and then sends them on a wild goose chase for the keys to the adjacent apartment before revealing that she had them the whole time.

Luckily, one thing that she won’t misplace is her dog, Armstrong, a small Mexican Chihuahua (or, as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole would say, a “small Mexican Chi-wow-wow”) that is permanently attached to her arm or scurrying alongside her feet.

Could this be a reference to the original series or are we barking up the wrong tree?
