1. The Lack Of Music
It's been known for a while that the legendary Angelo Badalamenti would be returning to score the new series, but so far, there's been barely any original music to speak of.
Yes, the composer's iconic themes have been sparingly used for marquee moments, but the majority of the show's scenes have played out totally sans music, scored only by a disturbing industrial hum.
Though this is effectively creepy in its own way, most fans were surely expecting Badalamenti to return with a treasure trove of new music. Of course, it's entirely possible his new licks will kick in once Cooper returns to Twin Peaks, but if not, this will likely be the series' most disappointing aspect to many fans.
Thankfully The Return is a mostly rapturous return for David Lynch so far, so here's everything he's getting right...
