Umbrella Academy: 10 Things Season 2 Must Include
1. The Lincoln Memorial Attacks
This entry bookends the list with US Presidential focussed features, although this one is so much weirder than the Academy killing JFK. It involves the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, which comes to life and goes on a rampage.
Yeah, you read that right.
This happens in the Dallas storyline in the comics, and while we've had no real indication what direction the show will take, you'd get pretty short odds in Vegas of them doing Dallas.
Another link to the first entry here is that the man who tasks them with taking out the Lincoln Memorial is none other than JFK himself. It's an utterly bonkers storyline, and while it seemed like the show really let loose in Season One, by the comic's standards they were actually holding the crazy back.
Whether the show will have the budget to pull off a scene like this is another question mark, but it would be a massive moment if they were able to do it. If you're wondering, in the comics they eventually put the marauding Lincoln down with a statue of John Wilkes Booth, which only raises further questions. Like who has a John Wilkes Booth statue lying around?!
