8. More On Ben
If we see the younger versions of the Umbrella Academy, we may well see Ben join the fray in a more meaningful way too. It depends on how the younger selves manifest, but either way it would be great to see more of him.
Ben’s ghost is always with Klaus, so it is possible that if his ghost gets the same ‘younging’ treatment, his ghost could recover a physical form and join the Academy once again, at least for a little while. The majority of the season will surely be the grown up versions of the gang (barring Number Five), but we should get some time with the youngsters and hopefully therefore some time with Ben.
As well as this, we still don’t know exactly how Ben died. That feels like a major part of a storyline for a character we only know as a ghost, so for curiosity’s sake alone, we might get more information on that.
His ability to communicate will potentially get stronger with all the chaos around them too, and he won’t be forced to speak through Klaus alone anymore. That’s obviously going to be a breath of fresh air for him and might lead to extra development.
