Umbrella Academy: 10 Things Season 2 Must Include

While Ben seems like the most interesting option for youth, there’s a lot to be said for Vanya too. We don’t yet know how much the comic the show is set to follow, so what they do with Vanya’s story is anyone’s guess.

Assuming she somehow folds back into the Academy despite trying to kill them and destroying the timeline, seeing how she deals with her powers now will be interesting to focus on going forward. This counts double if she remains in her young body.

With Reginald fearing she would become too powerful, Vayna’s powers were suppressed, leading her to think she had none. You could argue that Reginald was proven correct, but then how much of that was Vanya becoming a product of her environment?

Regardless, the younger version of Vanya has never experienced powers before. Depending on how much they lean in to the youth angle, and how much of their adult personalities remain, we could yet again see Vanya with a new lease on life, perhaps less destructive this time around.

She was a central character last season though, so ideally Season Two will flesh some of the rest out too.
