Umbrella Academy: 11 Biggest Questions After Season 2
8. What Became Of Klaus's Cult?
Arriving in Dallas at different
points in time, the Hargreeves family each forged their own lives in the 60s.
Luther became a bare-knuckled boxer and worked for gangster Jack Ruby, Alison
married and became a civil rights activist, Vanya worked on a farm as a nanny,
Diego kept up his vigilante persona and was administered into a mental hospital.
Klaus, on the other hand, started his own cult of devout followers known as
Destiny’s Children.
Quoting lyrics from songs that aren’t written yet as his scripture and engaging in lustful practices with his followers, this season proved another reason why Klaus is arguably the best character in the series. Despite his best efforts to convince his followers he was a fraud, the cultists took his confession to be another one of his bizarre moral teachings.
With Klaus all but abandoning his cult to return to the future, we can only wonder what became of Destiny’s Children during the next 50 years. The last we see of them they were driving around in a multicoloured bus, recruiting the Swedish assassin as a new member.
How far will the cult’s influence have spread by season three?
