Umbrella Academy: 14 Standout Moments From Season 1

For those who haven't read the comic book, Vanya going full villain was one of the better twists in the series. Considering the majority of the show is a constant reminder of how she isn't as special as her siblings, it was a trip seeing that she's just as, if not more special, than anyone could even imagine.

Watching her destroy The Umbrella Academy HQ and take everyone who had helped try and keep her subdued for all these years was confusing, but in the best possible way. You can see that she is the bad guy whose power will destroy the world and that's why she needs to be taken out.

However, she's also easy to sympathise with as she's been held back, ridiculed and downright bullied throughout the years. Who doesn't want to see the victim get their revenge? Well, maybe not at the expense of the world, but still.

Vanya might've turned out to be the big bad villain, but like every good bad guy, we can kind of see where she's coming from.
