There is no doubt about it, Bob has been one of the most interesting characters from the entire show. He has so many flaws €“ his alcohol problems jeopardised the group's safety on more than one occasion. He talks about how he has been with a couple of groups, and been the last man standing. The former army medic has such a fascinating back story, and as we see throughout the season, he carries so much guilt, and believes he is cursed. So what is it about Bob that makes him so likeable? It's because he only means good. We feel sorry for him. We empathise with him. He believed he was cursed €“ imagine how tough it must have been for him to lose not one, but two groups. There is no wonder he thinks this way. But when he escaped the prison, not alone, but with soon-to-be girlfriend Sasha and Maggie, we saw a different side to Bob, a happy Bob €“ with Sasha now, he can finally be happy. And despite how Season 4 ended, for Bob at least, this season can be seen as a big success.
