The Walking Dead: 10 Predictions For The Rest Of Season 5

9. ...But Morgan Jones Will!

As one of only three survivors from the very first episode of The Walking Dead, Morgan has remained a fan favourite during his scattered appearances over the seasons. After remaining absent throughout Season 4, Morgan returned in the opening episode of Season 5, seemingly on a mission to catch up with Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors on their way to Terminus. Upon realising that the sanctuary was no longer safe, he followed new markings and eventually arrived at Father Gabriel's church, where he discovered the map to Washington D.C. that Abraham had left behind for Rick. After setting up Morgan's journey in the first half of Season 5, it would be bizarre to presume that the show-runners wouldn't continue developing this thread further. As it's been pointed out by some that Morgan is still far behind Rick's group, future episodes will likely follow his journey in more detail. Entire cutaway segments could be devoted to Morgan's reactions as he follows in the aftermath of Rick's group and eventually, the two parties will inevitably join as the main survivors are slowed down for whatever reason. What's going to be most fascinating about this journey is the chance to discover whether Morgan is still as unhinged as he was the last time we saw him in Season 3 or whether he has come to terms with his inner demons.
