The Walking Dead: 10 Predictions For The Rest Of Season 5

3. Sightseeing in Washington D.C.

Considering how close the Alexandria Safe-Zone is to Washington D.C., it would make perfect sense for the survivors to pay a visit to the nation's capital for a supplies run and even just a little bit of general sight-seeing. Of course, the group may hold bad feeling towards Washington D.C. due to the fact they originally saw the city as a chance to rid the world of walkers once and for all, but for some of the characters, a visit may bring closure to the overwhelming feelings of disappointment they endured upon Eugene's revelation. Some of the survivors may even believe that there's still hope in Washington D.C. After all, if there is ever a chance to find a cure or some form of new government, wouldn't the President's home city be a likely contender? Whether the show-runners decide to visit the capital for these reasons or not, it would certainly make sense to feature D.C. just for the iconic imagery alone. As one of the most popular shows on television, its likely that the producers of The Walking Dead would have the means to shoot a one-off episode in Washington, creating the kind of memorable scenarios that the movie 28 Days Later brought to London. Just imagine Carl eating a whole tub of chocolate pudding to himself while sitting on the roof of the White House. This stuff writes itself!
