7. We Learn That Joe And His Group Are Cannibals

Continuing forward with the theory that we're going to see some on screen representation of cannibalism, it has to be assumed that we're going to also see more of Joe and his group of marauders that were first introduced ransacking Rick's temporary accomodation. Is it possible that Joe and his group could in fact be the television version of the Hunters, or are they simply a cannibalistic group made up for the show? As a side topic, it will be interesting to see how things evolve with Daryl now seemingly being a part of Joe's group. Will Daryl abandon his newfound meaning and revert to his old ways, or will matters between him and Joe eventually come to a head? There's no denying that cannibalism is an untouched theme rich for development on the Walking Dead. It's a huge part of the comic book series and with a lot of this season taking inspiration from the pages, it's entirely plausible that we see Joe's true colors as a living and walking flesh eater himself. It's also entirely possible that Terminus is his headquarters or is a place that his people have already wiped out in their own quest for "food".
